FireRoofs wildfire defense system installation

Your Home Defends Itself.

Embers land before flames arrive. The first 90 minutes decide whether your home stands or burns. Dual wildfire detection spots the threat. Automated exterior suppression saturates your roof, eaves, and perimeter. No buttons. No valves. No one needs to be home.

The System

Detect. Alert. Defend.

Every FireRoofs system follows the same three-stage logic. The technology watches for fire. It tells you what it sees. And when the threat is real, it fights back automatically.

Stage 1

Detect

Two independent systems monitor for wildfire around the clock. Regional satellite monitoring scans for active fire within a 7-mile radius. On-property cameras watch your surrounding landscape and confirm threats like smoke, embers, and flame with a near-zero false alarm rate.

Stage 2

Alert

When the system detects a threat, you get an immediate push notification showing threat level, direction, and system status. You can cancel, activate early, or do nothing and let the system respond on its own.

Stage 3

Defend

Automated sprinklers engage across your roof, eaves, and vegetation perimeter. Water saturates every surface that fire would target. If Class A foam is part of your system, it deploys at the highest threat level, creating a fire-resistant barrier that clings to surfaces.

The System at Work

What Gets Installed

FireRoofs rooftop sprinkler head mounted on roof ridge

Rooftop Sprinklers

Mounted along the ridge line, saturating the entire roof surface from the top down.

FireRoofs eave sprinklers spraying water along roof eave line

Eave Sprinklers

Protect the eave line and soffit, the most common ember entry point.

FireRoofs perimeter ground sprinkler spraying water across hillside vegetation

Perimeter Sprinklers

Soak the vegetation zone closest to your structures out to 35 feet.

FireRoofs camera view of structure fire with Level 3 threat detection and full deployment active

Intelligent Cameras

Mounted at strategic positions, feeding the detection system day and night.

FireRoofs control panel and plumbing installation

Control Panel

Manages zone activation, water pressure, and communication from a discreet enclosure.

FireRoofs control enclosure with plumbing manifold and valve assembly

Class A Foam (Optional)

Mixes firefighting foam into the water supply during maximum threat activation.

What Installation Looks Like

A FireRoofs installation is a construction project overseen by a licensed California General Contractor. Construction typically takes 3 to 10 days depending on system complexity, covering sprinkler heads, copper piping, control panel, sensors, and cameras. Commissioning and client orientation follow in 1 to 2 days, including zone testing, pressure verification, sensor calibration, and app training.

3 to 10 Days

on your property from start to finish

Annual Maintenance

We offer an optional annual maintenance plan covering inspection, testing, sensor calibration, foam replacement, and a pre-fire-season readiness check.

Custom-Built. Bay Area Only. Backed by Real Construction Expertise.

FireRoofs isn't a national franchise. We don't ship kits. We don't subcontract the install to whoever's available.

Local Expertise

We work exclusively in the Bay Area and Santa Cruz Mountains. We know these terrains, wind patterns, and fire corridors.

Professional Construction

Every installation is overseen by a licensed California General Contractor with decades of experience in construction, irrigation, and water systems.

Custom Engineering

No two properties are the same. Lot size, slope, roof pitch, vegetation, water pressure, wind exposure. All of it factors into your system design.

Dual Wildfire Detection

No other Bay Area company combines satellite monitoring with on-property intelligent camera detection. Two independent layers eliminate blind spots.

Homeowner Stories

What Our Clients Say

“We've lived in the hills for 25 years and watched the fire risk grow every season. When our carrier dropped us, we knew we had to do something beyond clearing brush. The FireRoofs team walked our entire property, explained every component, and built a system that actually made our underwriter comfortable enough to write a new policy.”

Suzanne D.

Los Altos Hills

“I looked at the sprinkler kits you can buy online. Then I looked at what FireRoofs actually installs. There's no comparison. The detection, the automation, the backup water switching. This is a real system, not a garden hose on your roof.”

See What a Defense System Looks Like for Your Property

Every FireRoofs system starts with a free property evaluation. We walk your lot, assess your terrain and vegetation, look at your water supply, and design a system that fits your home. No commitment. No pressure. Just a clear picture of what protection looks like for your property.

Unlike manual sprinkler kits, a FireRoofs system activates on its own, even when you've evacuated.
